St John's Preschool

Located at St. John’s United Methodist Church, St. John’s Preschool has been serving 2, 3 and 4 year-olds in Staunton City and beyond for 30 years. At St. John's Preschool, we support all areas of a child's cognitive, emotional, physical and social development. We work on language, self-care, large and fine motor, functional life, and academic skills. Just as important, we also spend a lot of time engaging students in social and spiritual development, teamwork, and appropriate play activities. We support our local community through food drives, collect hats and scarves for those in need, visit local retirement villages, and sponsor a trike-a-thon to raise money for a UMC Committee on Relief cause among other activities.

We are continually enhancing our educational resources, library, media and instructional toys and updating facilities as well as furnishings. If you would like to support our preschool with a gift of love, we will ensure it touches the life a many young children as they start their lifelong journey of learning.

Currently, we are seeking funds to purchase a new computer for administrative support to the preschool.
